Dr. Jason Phillips
Dr. Steave Breeding
Dr. Steave graduated from the University of Georgia in 2000. He has worked at several practices in Georgia as an emergency, relief, and/or assistant veterinarian, but has finally found a work home that he is proud to be a part of in Jefferson Animal Hospital.
Dr. Debra Dzimimanski
Dr. Debbie, a.k.a. "Dr. D", was born into a Navy family in Newport, R.I. She spent her childhood in various locations along the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. She graduated from high school in Middle Georgia, thus headed to UGA to pursue veterinary medicine. Dr. Dzimianski has practiced veterinary medicine for "20-something" years, while also raising a family of eight children. They live on a Dairy goat farm in Jackson County, and also raise Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian Dogs. The farm is also populated with cows, horses, poultry, and others dogs and cats. If there is any spare time after tending to farm, family, and work, Dr.D enjoys camping, hiking, and travel. In the vet hospital, Dr. D specializes in "TLC", and will give you and your pet the compassionate care you deserve. She caters to cats especially, but enjoys the rewards of working with dogs, and some of the greatest clients in the world here in Jackson County!
Licensed Veterinary Technician / Office Manager
Maranda graduated from the University of Georgia in 2001 with a BSA in animal and dairy science. She received her veterinary technician license in 2004. She married her high school sweetheart in 2000 and they have 2 little girls - 3 year old Reagan and 1 year old Macie. They live on a mini-farm in Jackson County with cows, horses, dogs, and cats.
Candice was born in Gwinnett County but raised in Winder, Georgia. She is currently in college at Gainesville State but plans to transfer to UGA to study large and small animal veterinary medicine. She has wanted to be a vet ever since she could remember. She has been riding horses for 10 years and use to show in Western pleasure and hunter/jumper. She owns 2 horses, 5 dogs, and 1 cat. She has always loved animals no matter what kind, and if she could would take home every one she found.
Kim has worked for 8 years at Jefferson Animal Hospital.
She and her husband OP enjoy quail hunting with their
Brittany Spaniels, Emma and Tucker.
Renata has been married for 12 years and has 2 children
Emilee Jewell, 8 and McKennon Cabe, 2. She is a resident
of Jefferson and has lived here for five years. She also has 2
dogs Muggsie and Ambrosia and one cat Bootsie.
